Overview

The Accounting Technician, reports to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for providing support to the finance department with a strong emphasis on accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Enter daily credit card, cash and revenue postings.
  • Reconciliation of clearing accounts.
  • Reviewing of the cash over/short accounts.
  • Daily assistance on Special Projects.
  • Maintain records in compliance with current legal requirements.
  • Attend any training that is required and approved by Management.
  • Adhere to Resort Health and Safety Policies at all times.
  • Any other duties as reuired by management

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

 

  • Accounting Diploma
  • Actively seeking a career in Accounting.
  • Proficient user of MS Office applications.
  • Strong excel skills preferred.

EXPERIENCE

 

  • Office working environment.
  • Experience within the hospitality or gaming industry an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
  • Self-starter comfortable working both in a team environment and independently.
  • Detail oriented and a keen learner.
