  • Overview

    The main purpose of the job is to support and assist the responsible manager to maintain a safe and clean environment. The key role would be to upkeep the cleanliness of the rooms to a high standard.


    • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
    • Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area.
    • Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
    • Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
    • Replace/remove dirty linens and towels with clean items.
    • Make beds and fold towels.
    • Remove trash and empty all waste bins.
    • Clean the bathroom and toilet.
    • Check that all applicants are present and in working order.
    • Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances.
    • Dust, polish and remove marks.
    • Vacuum rooms and hallway.
    • Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person.
    • Keep linen room and serviced areas clean and tidy at all time and keep cleaning materials safely stored.
    • Maintain polite and good communication with coworkers and customers at all times.
    • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
    • Turn in all lost and found items.
    • Perform other resonable job duties as requested.



    • Minimum 1 year of Room Attendant experience is preferred.
    • Customer Service Skills: Room Attendants need proper customer service skills.
    • Able to work as a part of a team.
    • Able to work with little supervision.
    • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
    • Must be organized and detail oriented
    • Must have working knowledge of the English language (verbal, written, reading)
    • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling. Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs.

    • Exposure to cleaning chemicals.

    The Schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
