  • Overview

    The Security Systems Analyst is responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of video surveillance equipment and integrated access control/alarm network equipment. This position requires the ability of the individual to work in dimly lit rooms and server rooms to ensure the IT backbone of the Security System is operating at peak efficiency. This position also requires compliance with gaming regulations and maintaining compliance to company procedures.

    A structured Security Systems Analyst is critical to the success of the River Cree Resort & Casino. The primary purpose of the Security Systems Technician is to ensure that all physical security devices are patched and in working order.

    Responsibilities

    • Knowledge of camera and alarm reporting requirements within AGLC Regulated Casinos
    • Ability to complete regular patching on all servers and devices
    • Complete documentation on all devices and ensure it is always up to date
    • Ensure all devices are enabled for web monitoring
    • Ability to troubleshoot and correct defective devices as required
    • Maintain appropriate documentation as required by company policy
    • Maintain compliant with all safety standards set out by the resort

    Qualifications

    • At least two years recent experience working as a System Analyst on large security system
    • Experience with multicast routes, active directory and Directory Servers within a large Security System is required
    • Must have valid Genetec Security Center Technical Certifications
    • Valid DMP Certification required
    • Experience using Assa Abloy system platforms would be an asset
    • Bachelor Degree in IP Networking would be an asset
    • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP would be an asset
    • Working knowledge of all device manufactures and how to upgrade software to common devices
    • LAN/Networking experience for large security systems
    • Must be able to meet deadlines while under stressful timelines
    • Able to work all shifts including overnights when required
    • Must be able to pass criminal record checks and AGLC Screening (if required)
    • Must be able to successful complete key personnel with the AGLC (if required)

    The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays. The Security Systems Technician will be required to be on his/her feet for most of his/her entire shift conducting physically demanding work having manual dexterity to hang/mount all different types of devices
