Overview

The IT Governance Analyst will be responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware, software and networks.

Responsibilities

  • Determine users’ technical needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Draft policies in line with operational practices
  • Ensure that all computers are secured effectively by analyzing systems/reports that are generated
  • Escalate reports to IT team where systems do not meet Internal standards
  • Party responsible for security awareness training, penetration testing program and IT standards testing
  • Explain the role of network applications and equipment to the end users
  • Maintain backup of all compliance required documentation (GDPR/PCI-DSS, etc.)
  • Maintain documentation of all policy/procedure as it relates to Information Technology/Business Technology processes
  • To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years compliance experience
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems.
  • In depth knowledge of applicable framework and regulations as they relate to IT Compliance
  • Ability to build effective relationships within the organization at all levels.
  • Able to handle unpredictable situations in a timely and diplomatic manner

The schedule for this position may require the availability to do shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
